Penny Dreadful Season 3 Episode 1 Summary

Ethan is a prisoner under Inspector Rusk’s watch heading through America. Sir Malcolm meets a mysterious native american while in Africa. Frankenstein gets a visit from an old friend: Dr. Jekyll. Meanwhile in London the bells across the city ring out following the death of famed poet Alfred Lord Tennyson as Vanessa goes deeper into depression. Mr Lyle recommends that Vanessa gets help from a very intriguing alienist, Doctor Seward, if she’ll be accepted for therapy.
